Year 6 had an exciting treat last week as a teacher from The Cooper School visited Longfield's to
lead a fantastic lacrosse session. The children threw themselves into learning the fundamentals of
the sport, from mastering ball control and passing techniques to developing teamwork and quick
decision making. The session was fast paced, engaging, and full of laughter, with pupils discovering
a new sport that challenged them in all the best ways. It was a brilliant opportunity to try something
different, and Year 6 rose to the occasion with enthusiasm.
